Tracktion's rack filter system is a powerful and flexible way of working with many different plug-ins. It can be used for purposes as diverse as creating effect sends, side chaining compressors, or working with plugins that offer multiple audio outputs. You can even use rack filters to create new instruments and effects by combining a number of existing plugins into a new, more powerful one.




Downloading and using the examples:

What you will find below are links to a collection of rack filters you can use, either directly, or as inspiration for your own designs. Each link will take you to a page from which describes the rack filter, and how it is used. The rack filter itself is included as part of a tracktion archive. In many cases, two archives may be present, one with just the rack filter, and another including a short demonstration piece that shows the rack filter in action.

Installing an example rack as a preset for use in your projects:

Rack filters can be saved as presets which are available to all of your projects. This allows you to quickly call up commonly used racks when starting new songs.
